We’re on the road
We move from place to place
And oftentimes when I’m about to call it home
We’d have to move along
Life is a constant change…
The friends we know we meet along the way
Too soon the times we share form part of yesterday
‘Cause life’s a constant change
And nothing stays the same, oh no
Clouds that move across the skies
Are changing form before our very eyes
Why couldn’t we keep time from movin’ on?
Hold on to all the years before this moment’s gone?
Why must we live the days at such a frightening pace?
We’re all like clouds that move across the skies
And changing form before our very eyes
Have we outgrown our Peter Pans and wings?
We’ve simply grown too old for tales of knights and kings
‘Cause life’s a constant change
And nothing stays the same, oh no
...i've always loved this song composed and sung by Jose Marie Chan. sometimes it makes me want to cry realizing how things and people change for different reasons. other times it helps me accept changes as they are for that is simply how they are supposed to be. i cannot say that changes are bad but sometimes they could hurt. sometimes i wonder why bad changes are more vivid and obvious. or is it just me who is looking at it like a pessimist? sometimes it scares me of the future. there was a time in my life when i didn't care about it. in my eyes, everything was pretty handy. the older i get, the more concerned i become. i am actually puzzled why the more concerned i become, the weaker i get. this probably explains why many others choose to forget, to ignore and be blinded by reality. why ignore if ignoring means delaying? forgetting does not mean deleting. they're just there left behind. but they are there. perhaps acceptance is the best option. things change, people change, situations change just as the seasons do as well. in accepting, you don't leave them behind. you make it live its purpose until it's done and will go by itself.
... people create changes for a reason. the world changes for a reason. every single little thing could change for a reason. the first black (excuse the term) president of America won for his campaign of CHANGE. the word "change" exists for it has reason to do. let change serve its purpose!
