... few more days before the semester starts. i'm trying to maximize my holidays. very soon i'll have to wake up early and go to bed early as well. we didn't travel much this year, except for spending Christmas and New Year with old friends in another city, and that countryside visit, we stayed home most of the time, not to mention going out for shopping (groceries mostly).

... we made a lot of pictures though. that's our pastime. one way to spend the day productively, seeing the world's beauty through a lens and sharing it. sometimes places are not that amazing but with photographs, their beauty is enhanced. i'm not talking about photoshop. it's merely about finding the best spot from an artist's point of view.

... well, obviously i'm not the artist hehe. it's my bf. all i do is follow instructions - if i want beautiful pictures :) i'm actually very stubborn and i don't like instructions. i like doing things my way 'cause i know i'm right (at least i believe so hehehe). but when it comes to having good photos, i must admit, not my forte.

... phoenix square is another park close to the yi he river. it was a good time to go there on a Monday. not too many people. it was still cold though. when i saw the water, i felt like going back to the Philippines and go swimming. i'm afraid i'm a patriot when it comes to water hehe. nah, i just prefer sea water. (:

... a "beng beng cha". i had picture of it before and i have ridden one. but this one is much much smaller. it's a private car. inside is a motor for a bike. i finally got a picture inside it like it was my own ride. 'twas my dream hehe. i just find it cute for me.

... the owner was an old man whom we talked for quite sometime before i got the courage to ask if i could have a picture inside. he was nice, talked bout life and later i guess he figured out that it was a good idea to have a picture with his car so he requested to have one for himself. and he wants to have them (:

... that's him and Shamil exchanging numbers so he can get his pictures we'll develop for him. he was trying to give us money, funny 'cause he probably thought that the camera has a film that we bought and that we need to spend money for developing also. he was just trying to be fair. but of course we wont get it. he did us a favor too by allowing me to have a picture inside his precious new car hehe.
