Beijing trip 2010 (Day 3: Food and Mall Bystanding)

Lunch in a Chinese restaurant.

duck soup and steamed bread with some meat filling

we wanted to eat the famous "peking duck" Beijing duck but they only serve a whole duck and it would be too much for us, we wont finish it for sure, and it's expensive to eat a little and leave the rest. doesn't make sense, so we just ordered this. 

the soup tasted very good actually especially for the weather like that. the meat was ok, not the favorite but was very ok.

at the Costa Coffee. yeah i know that was a huge coffee cup haha. i didn't drink it alone, i shared it with sham and we still didn't finish it. they didn't give us cream nor milk, only sugar. it would have been better appreciated if there was a cream hey.

told 'ya, it is very dangerous to stay at the malls haha. i got one already. i bought a scraf from zara. we still thought of going somewhere but it was really cold as for our clothes, i thought that if i would have a scraf, i'll feel warmer, so we did buy one. but again when we went out, it wasn't really pleasant until we decided to just spend the afternoon at this mall.

that's the scarf i bought which i didn't use much 'cause the day after that was a sunny day' but i like it though, i think it'll be a favorite next autum. ",)

our guide. the map, the spots we were looking for are all right in this mini pocket guide. i got myself busy reading and making plans for the following day. i also took the chance to text with my student and know what was happening in school.
