The Sunken Garden

one of my favorite places to spend time is the Sunken Garden at the University of the Philippines. there's nothing much to do with it but there's a lot to see, think about and feel when you are there. i've always love green fields, be it a grassland, a rice field or a sports field. i love watching every motion that takes place on that green field. here are some of the pictures we've taken at the sunken garden last July2008.

perfect green. the trees, the anthill - i love 'em all.

the sunken garden at UP. the soccer field and the venue for rock concerts.

the above 3 pictures were all taken from the same field. different shades from different point of location.

it was another sunny day and it could be boring to stay at home. we called Mae and met up at UP.

we finally got tired of walking. we sat and started eating "rambutan" which we bought from the sidewalk vendor.

Banana-Q. one of the most popular snack in the Phils. our snack are not just crackers or cookies, sometimes they could be slightly heavy food. it is called banana-q because it is placed on a stick just like BBQ. banana-q cannot be any type of banana. it must be "sabah". it is as sweet as other kinds but this one can stay whole even when deep fried. roll it on sugar after frying and put them on stick. now you have BANANA-Q.

these young girls were sitting on the bench close to us. i'm kinda puzzled how they all fit in there. (:

nota bene: more of these pictures in my facebook account albums.
