... today is officially the Lantern Festival. we made pictures of the displays the other day because it will be impossible if we did it today. the people's park is packed. everybody is out happy and excited.
... we went to the people's square and watched fireworks. we don't have pictures for it wasn't very photographic. it wasn't massive unlike the new year and unlike the previous years. everything is affected by global crisis. i heard from the news that firecrackers vendors didn't earn much this year too.
... i saw this cute little lantern from the shop and i bought it. it was only 7rmb. i was happy to have a new toy. sometimes even us grown-ups also crave for small things which we consider a toy. when we got back to the university, we stayed out a little bit more 'cause i wanted to admire my toy. (: it was fun looking at it with its little red light.
it was quite a day! (:
