I guess I'll just cut the story into days so it's gonna be little bit shorter each post and so that I can include pictures from the ramblings I had for the whole trip.
31January.Sunday.
... this was i guess a mobile hospital.
... and of course the day willot be complete without him :) *wink*
From there, we walked to the number one bathing beach where we saw some people who are swimming in winter cold. i wouldn't do that but i think they have this club of "polar swimmers" and they do that every year.
... the beach, the people and the swimmers
... shells and marbles. we have a lot of these in Philippines too and this reminds me of my childhood when i used to play by the seashore and pick up some shells, and use them as mini displays or toys.
... this one was quite expensive. we didn't buy it. the vendor was just kind enough to let us have picture with it.
... i don't know how they make it but i think they're not natural. they're some kinda marbles in egg shape.
i got myself some so i can make macro pictures of them later. and they're fun to have.
... this one was among the marbles. it's kinda transparent and gives nice light if you look through it against the direct light from the sun.
... the day ended up with a beautiful sunset. we went back to the downtown, had dinner and went back home. packed things up for the trip to Chengyang the following day.
... another day to be grateful of. :)))
31January.Sunday.
It was chilly in the morning when we went out but later the temperature rose when we were on the beach so we were able to make pictures without heavy winter jackets. I'm a bit tired of it ,")
This is the park extended from the number one bathing beach. I love seeing the water splashing unto the rocky shore. It looks better on a sunny day when the colors are so vibrant. It was half sunny half foggy the day we went there.
... it was low tide that day. see the water on the rock close to where i am sitting? the tide goes that high actually which is a pretty scary if you'd be there at the moment. i love seas but i fear deep waters. i was born in the Philippines which is composed of 7100+ islands but i don't even know how to swim hehe what an irony.
... when the water is as calm as this, i'd love to dive into it, but i'm afraid i won't float back to the surface, as i've told you i don't know how to swim. shame. shame. shame on me.
... my brother always told me before that i should learn for the world is composed 3/4 water and only the 1/4 land. that even sacred me more instead of being motivated to learn.
yesss, the moment of warmth. it was the first time this year i felt spring is almost here. the sun was a little bit irritating my eyes though. i regret i did't bring sunglasses.
... this is the road going to the naval museum. there were some ships standing by and another was a cruise ship i guess heading to south Korea.
... this was i guess a mobile hospital.
