... first time i saw these baby mangoes in the shop, i felt sorry for them. i had a feeling that they are being exploited. i sound funny i know. it's just because in my experience, we never eat small mangoes like these. usually we found them on the ground fallen from the tree due to maybe unhealthiness or some kids played with it. none of us kids in the neighborhood want to eat these small ones. if you are given one like these it means that they are being unfair to you hehe. but i heard that in some parts in the Philippines they are growing mutants like these ones. maybe they are some kinda "bonsai" as for a tree. anyway, i tried buying them once and i liked them. they're so sweet! now i am guilty of baby mango exploitation c",) (i hope they don't mind hehe)Friday, April 3, 2009

I really miss Philippine mangoes... so sweet. The ones we have in the supermarkets here in the US are from Brazil and they don't taste good at all to me!
