Wang Fu Jing is the biggest shopping street at the heart of the city. Tourists both foreign and local were seen around. Some came by troops, others, individually (like us).
shopping malls on both sides
cheap items for souvenir
local tourists in a group of red caps (for identity)
another group of local tourists in white cap group
local minority (don't know which one exactly)
i like seeing them in traditional clothes
an elderly in another minority wardrobe
St.Joseph's church at the heart of the city
bus at Wang Fu Jing street
The street is the busiest. It is not far from the Tian'an Men Square and Forbidden City. It serves as the meeting point for all the tourists before going somewhere and for shopping. We spent sometime in this area everyday during our stay.
I love all of these pictures! Makes me wish I could travel this year!
