Spring Fastrack

Spring cleaning. Spring sickness. Spring Camp. Spring semester. Spring oranization. Spring fever. Spring everything... tied me up so tight tight that I couldn't even upload some pictures or visit blogs. My hectic schedule will just loosen up after this weekend. I am hoping to start a new, more stressfree work season. I am looking forward to a stressfree daily life too but I 'm not sure it'll come exactly at this moment.

My youngest brother is graduating from college tomorrow and I am  really happy for him and my parents. For one one hand I feel sorry that I'm not there  to witness  and support him. He's going to receive 3 medals and he's pretty proud that my parents will have to go up on stage for that. I was supposed to make pictures & videos for his big day. I told him I was gonna go home at the end of January. I was expecting that my residence permit application would be rejected. But they told us at the immigration office to wait for another month. Two months passed and still I haven't  got an answer. I couldn't have gone home because in case the IO calls me in, I  have to report at once. For other hand, I'm also happy that I am still here. It only means that my papers haven't really been rejected (yet maybe). My husband and I wouldn't mind living in the Phils or maybe even somewhere else. But we wanted to live here for sometime. Plus we've spent a lot of money and effort coming here. Making these papers also caused lots of stress and trouble to our families. I want it all justified.  Oh how do I hate "red tape"!

Spring is here and the city is getting warmer and sunnier. Peopke are becoming kinder and more cheerful. I hope that positive vibes start going round and will eventually come to me.

As for now, let us celebrate SPRING ! :)

  2. Oh, I do hope you can get all the legal immigration things settled soon. I'm sorry you can't be home to see your brother, yet more time in Russia might be nice before you leave. All that waiting is very hard indeed.

Meanwhile, enjoy spring if it is coming your way. The Big Owl in my current post is still seeing snow but here in Michigan, it is cold but the snow is gone. Spring cannot be too far away!

  4. Sorry that you'll miss your brother's graduation and time with family. Good luck with the red tape - it can be unnerving! Think spring!

  5. Congratulations to your brother for doing so well. Your whole family must be so very proud of him. My nephew will graduate too in May and since Spring has been so hectic and there is travelling here and there it is hard to juggle and make sure I will be here for graduation. But I cannot miss it as I live in the same city! It must be so hard to be so far away at this special time but I know for sure how important it is to you and your husband to have the red tape be justified. It is so much paperwork and money and so many personal details to be handed over. Best of luck to you that you will hear GOOD news soon. xx

  6. Happy March, and happy spring. Happy, happy everything.

Sorry you can't be there to take photos on your brother's big day, but you've gotta do what you've gotta do. I'm sure your family understands.

Take care. Have a super April, and I'll be back in May. :)

  7. How sad you can't be there for your brother's graduation! Spring has definitely arrived here, but along with it comes rain, almost every day. Not today tough, the sun is shining brightly! Happy spring to you!
