Buddy Bears II

Here are some of the most interesting Buddy Bears. It's quite difficult to make a solo picture of each because there are always many people looking at them closely. We were lucky enough to catch some moments when people are not around some of those adorable bears.
This one's from North Korea. I was quite impressed that they have one.
From Belgium. I've asked my friend in Belgium what the design means, she doesn't know either.

The "mother "of the bears. There were two of them. They represent the idea of the whole United Buddy Bear project.
That's where they're all standing, across the Kremlin.
They're all beautiful, I like them all in fact but this one's one of my personal favorites. Cuba. He really did bring his own cigar - cool!

  2. Those bears are wonderful! Here, I've seen turtles, horses, pigs, and a few other animal statues all painted up like that for various fundraisers, but never bears. But in Russia? Bears are perfect!

  3. Some great bear shots there. I really love the scenic photos too. What is that very large building in the background? It looks like a mosque?
